Esprique’s spring 2016 makeup collection features the new Glow Cheek. Four variations are available, and my favorite is PK-2. If you tend to prefer shimmerless blushers, do bear in mind that the product has quite a glowy finish with fine shimmer.
By the way, Keiko Kitagawa (北川景子) replaced Yui Aragaki (新垣結衣) as the new muse of Esprique. This replacement caught my attention as Kitagawa had been with Kanebo for many years. She was one of the five spokespeople for Coffret d’Or when the line was launched in December 2007 and she was featured in many of the line’s ad campaigns over the years. She also fronted ad campaigns for Kanebo’s Allie and Sala. I am still getting used to seeing her in a Kosé commercial.

9th: Les Merveilleuses de Ladurée

Les Merveilleuses de Ladurée’s spring 2016 Le Printemps en Montgolfière makeup collection shows that blushers are still key items in the brand’s makeup lineup. There are three new (limited-edition) shades of Pressed Cheek Color and three new (limited-edition) shades of Powder Cheek Color. My favorite among the six is Pressed Cheek Color in 107, which is a deep fuchsia pink (pictured in the image above).
8th: Clinique

As I like the bright and cheerful look of Clinique‘s Cheek Pop (as well as some of the shades, such as 03 Berry Pop and 04 Plum Pop), I am pleased to see the new Lid Pop eyeshadows. At the moment, I like 07 Aqua Pop (above), 10 Grape Pop (below) and 05 Willow Pop (further below).

7th: Jill Stuart

Jill Stuart’s spring 2016 Spring Snowy Pastel makeup collection features Mix Blush Compact More Colors and Shimmer Couture Eyes, and all of their pastel hues make the collection very colorful and spring-like. However, my favorite items of the collection are Lip Blossom in 19 and Forever Juicy Oil Rouge in 09 as I like their cool-toned shades.
